We were thrilled to work with Freddie Strickland again, this time on his multi award winning ‘On Tropic’ Garden at RHS Tatton Park.
Freddie selected forty boards reclaimed from Tilbury Docks and they added immense durability and character to his design. Congratulations to Freddie and the team, who picked up both RHS Young Designer of the Year and Best Garden Construction awards at the show.
About the garden
‘On Tropic’ celebrates the sub-tropical gardens found in Cornwall, reimagining this type of planting closer to Tatton Park, in a northerly, domestic suburban context.
In this environmentally consious British garden, traditional plants are replaced with a tropical palette that thrives in our warming climate. With climate change a pressing concern, this garden speculates upon our future low-impact garden design and planting.
Putting sustainability first?
We’re on hand to discuss project challenges, and help you find a way to increase the % of reclaimed timber specified in your projects.
