Standout Sustainable Gardens: RHS 2023 Showcase
This year’s Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) event season has set a new standard in sustainable horticulture. At RHS Chelsea Flower Show, RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival, and RHS Flower Show Tatton Park, it was a privilege to collaborate with many landscape architects driving progress and captivating audiences through the use of Ashwells FSC reclaimed timber in eco-conscious design and construction.
It’s never possible to completely eliminate carbon, but as this season’s RHS gardens demonstrate, the built and landscape construction industry can limit its impact by choosing reclaimed timber that helps reduce carbon footprint and delivers a more sustainable solution.
In this blog, we showcase some of the standout sustainable gardens of RHS 2023 and share inspiration for landscape architects prioritising sustainability and waste reduction in their own designs.
